This M6 plain channel nut is designed for securing brackets, components and accessories to standard 41mm strut channel systems.
The nut fits inside the channel profile and provides an M6 female thread for use with a suitable M6 bolt or machine screw. Serrated edges engage with the returned edges inside the channel to create a secure fixing when tightened.
To install, insert the nut through the open face of the channel and rotate it through 90°. It can then be moved along the channel into the required position before the fixing is tightened.
Unlike short- or long-spring channel nuts, this plain channel nut does not have a spring attached. It is suitable for installations where a spring is unnecessary or where the nut can be positioned manually.
Manufactured from steel with a bright zinc plated finish, the channel nut is suitable for internal and suitably sheltered installations.
